If you happen to drive past Hopewell Center these few weeks, you’ll be likely to notice the tables and chairs set outside the Queens Road East entrance. This is in preparation for World Music Day.
It’s all done up in very French colours… And that’s because it is organised by the Alliance Francaise, whose office is just around the block on Hennessey.
According to the AF website, there will be dance troupes, musicians and artists performing all afternoon from 2-7pm.
There are about 12-15 tables that have been set up, so they’re expecting people to come and go (hopefully no hogging here).
If it rains then everyone’s going to be crammed into the shaded seating area and lobby entrance to the supermarket, escalators and lifts…
So hope it’s dry weather!
